How to order wholesale denim: wash, fit, and MOQ
Baggy, wide-leg, cargo, and vintage washes — what to lock on a sample before you bulk 12–14oz denim.
Denim is specified in ounces, not GSM
Our jeans run 12–14oz denim — a mid-to-heavyweight that holds a baggy or wide-leg silhouette. Lighter fashion denim can look cheap when the leg opening is extra wide. Heavier fabric stacks at the sneaker and photographs with real volume.
Wash is the second spec. Vintage blue, distressed cargo, indigo pattern, and washed black all read as different products in a catalog even if the cut is similar. Sample the wash you will actually sell — fading and rip placement do not translate well from a phone photo.
Fit language buyers actually use
Baggy and wide-leg are not the same as relaxed straight. Baggy stays loose from hip to hem and often pools. Cargo adds thigh flaps and utility pockets — useful if your customer expects streetwear function, not a five-pocket classic.
Size runs 28–38. If you are building a unisex drop, sample a mid size first (32) so you can check rise, thigh, and stacking before you commit 120 units to one SKU.
A denim sample checklist
Send the style name, color/wash, size, and destination country on WhatsApp. We quote the $50 sample plus delivery. After approval, bulk is 120 pieces per style — not mixed across washes unless you treat each wash as its own style.
- Vintage wide-leg and distressed cargo are different styles — sample both if you are unsure.
- Check pocket stitching, waistband patch, and hem stack on the real garment.
- Approve wash under daylight. Studio lighting hides yellow-tint vintage fading.
